NIGHTFORUM Welcome Party

As Night already mentioned in his welcome post, we’ll be running a mini-event for all you beta-tester, and now is the time!

What’s this about?

Once the closed beta ends and we open up to everyone, we want to properly greet all new members- and that’s where you come in! Through this event we’ll collaboratively create a welcome banner featuring you, or one of your characters, together with everyone else, to be displayed on the forum and greet all those who join. To accomplish this, everyone will make an individual submission, all of which will then be edited together by me into the finished banner.

If you’ve been around since the LGBT Ace Attorney server days, you may recognize this format from the anniversary events- but if not, don’t worry! It’s very simple.

So, how exactly does it work?

Every participant creates a picture of themselves of one of their characters, preferably in a welcoming or celebratory pose, and then posts the finished piece into this thread before the deadline. Once everything is posted we will take all the submissions and edit them into the finished banner! It will look something like this:

You don't have to consider yourself an artist in order to join- people of all experience levels are encouraged to participate! Also, your submission doesn't have to be a drawing at all- it may be a photo, photomanip, or something else! It only has to be made by you! (So, no art made for you by others.)

Rules:

• If you submit a character, they have to be your own- no characters from media or other people!
• Your picture has to be from the hip up (half body). You may draw more if you want, but there is no guarantee it will be visible in the final product.
• Your submission has to be transparent, so it can be easily combined with the others. If you have a background you are struggling to remove, let me know and I can help!
  
• The submission has to be at least 500px tall (portrait) or wide (landscape). If you submit a very large file, it may have to be scaled down to fit into the finished banner.
• Your submission has to be in line with the NIGHTFORUM's and Proboard's rules.

Deadline:

All entries must be submitted by February 28. Edit: The deadline has been extended to March 7th! You submit your entries by replying to this thread with them. On March 2nd March 9th, the final product will be posted!
