- REQUESTED TUTORIALS & GUIDES -
This thread both serves as a to-do list, and a place to make requests for tutorials, guides, and helpful posts you would like to see on the forum. If there's a kind of guide you think this forum would benefit from, but you're not about to write yourself, or would like help with, you can respond to this thread with your ideas. Before making a request, check if it already exists in the Masterpost. And if you would like to help by writing a requested thread, you can! Respond to this thread to let me know which request you'd like to fill, and wait for me to approve it before you start writing it. This is to avoid multiple people seperately writing the same guide. If someone else has already expressed interest, but you wanted to help with that thread too, then ask the first person if you can work together.
WANTED GUIDES: - A tutorial on how to properly give credit, and how to find sources for uncredited work

- Helpful guidelines on accessibility in writing

I think we should probably have some kind of guide explaining the basics of forums and how to use them, for people who are totally new to them.
In no particular order, should include a simple explanation of what a forum is, stuff about editing and setting up your profile, stuff about how to make threads, how boards work, and in particular explanation of forum-specific terms and buttons (like what the quote button does, what sticky or locked means, stuff like that), and maybe some basic BBCode stuff?
I don't think I'm fit to write that guide because I haven't actually navigated a forum since I was 14, so if anyone else would like to pick that up, that would be great.
(Shh, I know it's a bit unnecessary to respond to myself. It's mostly so I can format an example into the thread LMAO.)
