I'm about to get my booster shot in like two hours from now and I'm wondering abt how the side effects are. I spent all of the day before yesterday doing hevy lifting and all my muscles are still sore from that, too  How bad was it for you guys if/when you got it? And do you have any advice for how to not die a slow and painful death? |

I personally had about the same level of intensity with sideeffects as I had for the second dose, but also neither was very strong for me, so it's a bit hard to judge from it in a general way. I've heard from a couple of friends though that for them it was also about the same/a bit less intense- sore arm, slight fever, generally feeling energyless, maybe a headache.
My advice would be trying to sleep off as much of it as possible, just pass out for a day until it's over.

For me I was also sore going into it and all that it amounted to was just Same Sore but pinpointed to the arm, and trouble falling asleep at night. Also for my second dose and booster shot I had Moderna and both of those times I had horrible nightmares its probably a coincidence but I woke up the second time wondering if night terrors was an undocumented side effect or something NOOOO... Sorry about the nightmares dude I think discomfort and stress probably makes you more prone to having bad dreams in general? I know the worse I feel overall, the weirder my dreams get - and the more I remember of them, too, usually. So it might be something like that? |

OH i got pfizer for all 3 of my doses!! the second dose was the one that just completely flattened me like a hydraulic press. i was fine for the whole day (apart from slight arm soreness in the spot i got the shot in, which happens like every time i get vaxxed anyway BDMDJFMSD) Except when like, every single side effect steamrolled me at once almost directly after midnight. like. Everything. high fever, muscle soreness, intense Shakes, hot and cold flashes, headache, you name it and i probably had it!
BUT as for the booster shot it was like. Completely Fine. my arm was a lil sore for a few days ofc and i had a mild headache and was a bit low energy/brain felt like soup for a day but that honestly mightve been just from me not getting enough sleep the day before, i honestly couldnt tell lol

NOOOO... Sorry about the nightmares dude  I think discomfort and stress probably makes you more prone to having bad dreams in general? I know the worse I feel overall, the weirder my dreams get - and the more I remember of them, too, usually. So it might be something like that? that’s probably it yeah… it was particularly worse the first time bc I had more side effects like shortness of breath and sweating constantly at night and pain in literally every inch of my body, so after I woke up from a nightmare to all That I legitimately thought I was going to die that night like for real. But for the booster I just woke up really upset and that’s about it |

I got my shot yesterday and haven't had any side effects at all, i even worked out the muscle they injected it into this morning!

A NIGHTMARE. I'm so sorry bro. I'm glad the booster was fine for you though. I got the booster now and it wasn't as bad as I was expecting it to be - I spent all of Wednesday doing heavy lifting because I was helping a friend move her furniture into storage, so I thought it would suck to have the booster on top of all my muscles still being sore - but on the contrary, because my arms are already so sore anyway, I can barely feel the booster LMAO. |
