Hi everyone!!!! Today I wanted to share a fun game that I like to play every so often.
It's called Playlist Poetry!!
The gist is that you put one of your playlists on shuffle, and then pull the first lyric from the first ten songs on shuffle!
So for example, if I go to my spotify playlist right now and hit shuffle, i get:
To the trial, to the wooden door
Get in your zone, don't even look at them at all
I could go off the deep end
Just a moment dear,
People are puppets held together with string
Wake up early in the morning
There are flowers growing all around
To cut down on my silhouette
Hush falls the evening
You want a taste of my brain?
And that's the gist!! I like seeing how oddly coesive they end up.

I stuck to 6 because I think this is a nice and cohesive one and the songs that came up after it didn't work as well :3

You've been acting awful tough, lately.
I'm not going to lie i think this is the best poem I've ever written in any way so thanks

THIS IS SUCH A FUN CONCEPT... Here's one of mine!! I picked a character playlist I have, so this is unofficially dedicated to them as well :thumbsup: (9 songs, because one of them was instrumental.)
Flowing through the seas of time I saw, I saw the stars tonight Mama said the stars are the universe's eyes When I was a baby, I was blessed by a stranger.
It's that old recurring dream where you're drowning I can feel it on my tongue Turning a corner on my short commute Let's go in the garden They say the city is dirty and gray.
So yeah  this is more cohesive than I was expecting (though, maybe I should have, since it's a playlist dedicated to one character, so there's recurring themes already)... I really like it ;___; |
