working title: Dragons Altered
Developing in: RPG Maker 2003 (i might upgrade if i find it too limiting)
Plot Synopsis:
One night, a meteorite hits the peak of the nearby mountain. The morning after, you find all the dragons living in the land below the mountain have become aggressive and irrational, attacking anyone who comes near; luckily, you come from a village of people who take care of dragons and know how to soothe them! You travel around helping people you encounter, and maybe grabbing some new party members along the way...
I've had this concept in my head since 2012-13. first time i wrote it down was for language arts class, when my teacher asked us to write a short story within 3 days. My teacher was probably asking for like a cute 1-2 page short story, and i wrote a 19 page "5 chapters" hero's journey with illustrations. The story has changed quite a lot since then, i am not 12 anymore, it would be worrying if it didn't; but the 2 main characters (Dia and SF) are the most unchanged, i only feel like i added more to them.
I will acknowledge the fact that the new plot is unintentionally inspired by Earthbound, while the old plot is extremely Pokemon... it's like a combination of both now. But it's not really about the overall plot, it's about the journey, the characters feelings, the funny text, etc...
