hiiiiii (kicks my legs) hopefully this is the right subforum?? i feel like im at a point in my art where i cant progress further (meaningfully) without sitting down and actually learning perspective and anatomy. i have a decent grasp of how to tackle the anatomy half of that but im pretty lost when it comes to perspective. im basically starting from scratch, i know some concepts here and there but it doesn't amount to much i think the thing i struggle with most is that perspective tutorials tend to be like... 'heres what a 2-point perspective is!' which is fine, but not really practically applicable for an absolute beginner. i dont have a sense of what studies i should be doing, standard practice for drawing figures in perspective, how these things feed into actual drawings etc. if anyone has any resources they'd recommend, they would be much appreciated!! im willing to look at whatever, but i don't live in an area that holds physical classes that could help (i would POUNCE on a figure drawing class if there was one near me i miss them so much) going to put some art ive done that i feel show my perspective deficiencies under a spoiler, if it helps give context for where im at ^^

I too really need to sit down and practice perspective... I have a bunch of resources saved but I haven't gotten around to doing studies LOL Here's some of what I have on hand though! There is some overlap to them because perspective is, kind of a basic thing at its core so theres only So Much you can say about it but hopefully between each of these you can find something useful to You personally
[/a][li] [/li][li] [/li][li] Another playlist of perspective videos. these have longer videos than the first playlist and most of these cover the same concepts but the creator just adds anything he makes thats perspective related into this playlist even if he's covered it before LOL but his videos are well narrated [/li][li] Diagram of how to use boxes to help in drawing perspective (the guys who run this site have a Ton of tutorials/tips like these) [/li][li] Aaaand a tweet that I saw ages ago with a few tips/hacks lol [/li][/ul]
Hope this helps !
