Hi! I'm going to eat all your art like a solid brick of room-temperature butter. That aside, I really enjoy how organic your creatures are... your sense for their shapes and motion really makes your art what it is. pls ignore the fact that im responding like a month late i periodically forget to check the forum oops ANYWAY. SNIFFS AND BLOWS INTO A LITTLE TISSUE. TYSM im really happy with how well that motion carries over in my art i simply love to. shapez and linez

been thinkin abt an idea for a webcomic I came up with some time ago and brainstorming some creatures for it! here's an assortment of concept sketches for the species a couple of the main characters are gonna be based on, still unnamed as of right now but coming out pretty solid so far :] some design principles i went by when doodling these: - mostly reptilian with some mammal and bird traits mixed in - knuckle-walkers!! can move bipedally too (like while carrying things) but their posture mostly resembles that of something like chalicotheres or ground sloths, primarily ground-dwellers with arboreal origins (prehensile tail and thumbed feet are also remains of that) - BIG mane/crest of feathers that acts as camouflage, body language indicator, and protection for the spine/back of the neck due to their stiff and almost reedy structure (and yes. they do have preen glands. though situated somewhere closer to the base of the skull for communal allogrooming) - round and meaty lizard face, LARGE and very sharp teeth, flexible lips that can peel back for a threat snarl (similar to gelada baboons) - top-heavy but still lean body shape, I specifically wanted these things to very much Look and Feel like skilled and dangerous hunters even from a glance!

Your creachers are so cool and well thought out every time i see a new salty art i think to myself "man i should really learn how to draw animals so that i too can make cool creachurs." I'm very excited to see where this goes also with the development of a future webcomic!

A loose style test from about a month ago, when I was getting a bit frustrated with how I drew Palo then. He looks a bit younger here, maybe mid-twenties or so?? Flunfy. Shaped
