  Welcome to my Gallery !!! My name is NIGHTCORE and I draw pictures! - This is my art gallery thread, where I'll post everything* I make!

- My favorite things to draw are my characters, other people's characters, silly cartoons, monster creatures, birds, and human bodies.

I typically do a lot of them, to the point I have more sometimes than I even remember to post on Discord. So with that in mind, do you think it'd make sense to: a) just post them all in here as I go along, just like the finished art pieces b) make a seperate sketches thread and keep that updated or c) make like a sketch compilation post at the end of the month or something like that? Would really appreciate the input, tysm!!  |

As for your question, I vote B! I think it'll be nice to see your sketches as you go, rather than all at once- makes it easier to reply to things etc as well!!

I think the easiest to maintain would be c since you'd only have to post every end of the month but if keeping up is not an issue then probably b :)

astraldreams lentlsoup sincerelybii that's a pretty solid majority in favor of a sketch thread then LMAO. I'll set one up, but I don't know how well I'll be able to keep it updated - I'm Bad At Posting Art. Though if it turns out I can't keep up with it, I can always still use that thread for periodical sketch dumps hehe. TY for your input everyone :>
Anyway, I came here to post some art: My piece for the Valentines Gift Exchange!!! I drew this for misdreavussoda and it's our OCs singing an epic duet. Macavity (blond) (he/him) is my OC, and Hellebore (salt&pepper) (he/they/clown) is Cyril's. :3 This is known transmasc behavior so you better keep that in mind. I've also included some progress pics in case anyone wanted to see those...! For bigger pieces (like this one) I usually do three sketches; first one with the rough general idea, then a second one that's a complete redraw of the first sketch, in a way that pushes the pose and concept better, and then a third one over the second one where I add details and correct anatomy. Because there's usually a lot going on in that one, I also write notes for myself on the sketch so I know what I'm looking at. You can see the second and third sketch here! :>

I LOOOOOVE THE ENERGY OF THESE SO SO MUCH it always impresses me how much your lined pieces have going on... Everything looks so clean and crisp despite there being so much visual information so it makes sense that youd need multiple sketches to work out the finer details (like the overlap of the cord/wires and how they dance around the page stands out to me) but it blows my mind to see every time. I'd love to make a piece similar to this in process one day *__*
